Meet the Clergy and the Staff

Father Adilso Coelho was born in Anitápolis, Santa Catarina State, Brazil, on March 18th, 1969. He entered the Franciscan Seminary when he was 11 years old and left the Franciscan Order in 1994. In 1995 he moved to the USA where he joined the Congregation of the Oratory in 1998. He was ordained to the priesthood in 2001 and in 2002 he was appointed Pastor of Saint Anne Church. He served Saint Anne for 9 years and in 2010 he was appointed Pastor of Divine Saviour Church in York. In 2025 Father Adilso was appointed Administrator of Saint Anne School and in January 2026 he was also appointed Administrator of Saint Anne Parish.

Currently Father Adilso is Pastor of Divine Saviour Church, Administrator of Saint Anne Church, Administrator of Saint Anne School, liaison of the Charismatic Renewal Movement for the Diocese of Charleston and Chaplain of the Brazilian Catholics in the Diocese of Charleston.

Father Adilso enjoys gardening, swimming, walking and he is always ready for a good golf match. A huge soccer fan who learned how to enjoy American football.

Father Johnni do Bonfim Silva, C.O. is an Oratorian priest originally from Brazil who serves the Catholic faithful of Rock Hill and the surrounding communities with dedication, faith, and pastoral care. As a member of the Congregation of the Oratory, Father Johnni is committed to fostering spiritual growth, building strong parish communities, and accompanying people in their journey of faith.

Father Johnni currently serves as Parochial Vicar at St. Anne Catholic Church in Rock Hill and Divine Saviour Catholic Church in York. He is also the Chaplain for Winthrop University, ministering to students through the Rock Hill Oratory’s campus ministry program. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Father Johnni assists with parish administration and serves as Business Manager, helping oversee operations and supporting tuition assistance reviews for St. Anne Catholic School.

Known for his welcoming spirit and commitment to service, Father Johnni is passionate about sharing the Gospel, celebrating the sacraments, and helping parishioners deepen their relationship with Christ.

Father Kevin O’Connor serves as Parochial Vicar of St. Anne Catholic Church, School Chaplain for St. Anne School, and Chaplain of the Saint Anne/Oratory Knights of Columbus Council.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Father Kevin graduated from Duquesne University with a degree in History and a minor in Legal Studies. After several years working as a paralegal, he discerned a call to the priesthood and entered seminary formation in 2012.

Father Kevin joined the Oratory of Rock Hill in 2020 and completed his studies at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, earning both a Bachelor of Sacred Theology and a Master of Divinity. He was ordained to the priesthood on August 17, 2024.

Father Kevin enjoys reading, sharing a good cup of tea, studying Sacred Scripture, and exploring ways to connect the Gospel message to everyday life through movies, television, and popular culture.

Sister Agnes Cousins, BS, MA, MSW, is a Franciscan. She has worked in Catholic education for more than thirty years, in parishes, high school, Archdiocesan positions in evangelization & catechesis, furthermore she helped to establish a Maryvale Center of formation for catechists in Kansas City, Kansas. 

Deacon Andrew was born to immigrant parents of Portugal and is first generation American. He is proud of his ancestry and his Catholic upbringing; being heavily influenced by his grandparents. He has worked as a maintenance engineer for over 30 years including the 145th ANG Civil Engineering Squadron as a civilian and currently in a private school in Charlotte.

Deacon Andrew is married and has three children and a grandson and is fluent in both Portuguese and English. He has been ordained since 2019.

Deacon Ray Moore has lived in Rock Hill his entire life and is a graduate of Northwestern High School and Winthrop University. He married the love of his life, Paulette, on July 11, 1987. Following a distinguished career with the York County Solicitor’s Office, he retired after supervising juvenile intervention programs and coordinating the Juvenile Drug Court.

A convert to the Catholic faith, Deacon Ray has been a Catholic and a devoted member of St. Anne Catholic Church for more than 45 years. He was ordained as a Permanent Deacon in 2002 and continues to faithfully serve the parish community.

Deacon Angel Alejandro Juárez-Reyes was born in the city of León, in the State of Guanajuato, Mexican Republic. He became a parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church in Rock Hill in 1996 and has been an active member of the parish community ever since.

On July 2, 2005, he married his wife, Coi Lopez, and together they have been blessed with two daughters, Regina and Valentina. Answering God’s call to ordained ministry, Deacon Angel was ordained by Rev. Jacques Eric Fabre-Jeune, Bishop of Charleston, on February 4, 2023.

Deacon Angel is dedicated to serving Christ, supporting families, and strengthening the parish community. His personal motto reflects the values that guide his life and ministry:

“Love Christ, Love Your Family, and Serve Your Community.”

Jermaine Evans serves as Director of Music at St. Anne Catholic Church, where he oversees and coordinates the parish’s vibrant and diverse music ministry. With more than 30 years of experience as a music educator and church musician, he is passionate about leading worship that inspires active participation and reflects the richness of the Church’s traditions.

Jermaine works closely with the parish’s English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Filipino communities, fostering a welcoming and prayerful environment through music. He is committed to blending traditional sacred music with contemporary liturgical selections to support meaningful worship for all generations. He oversees choirs with ages ranging from teens through active adults beyond 80+ years, and instrumental ensembles used for various times of the year.

In addition to his ministry at St. Anne, Jermaine is the Band Director at Castle Heights Middle School and is a lifelong advocate for music education. He performs in wind and jazz ensembles throughout the Charlotte Metro Area. He is an active member of The National Association of Pastoral Musicians and The National Association for Music Education. He believes that music has the power to unite people, deepen faith, and build community.

Milena Dorsey serves as the Parish Secretary at St. Anne Catholic Church. Originally from Brazil, she is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Catalan, and also speaks some Italian. She is passionate about serving parishioners from all backgrounds and helping people feel welcomed and connected within the parish community. Having lived in five different countries, Milena brings a unique multicultural perspective and a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and traditions.

Milena has extensive experience in administration, communication, and community outreach, helping to support the daily operations of the parish and its ministries. She is known for her welcoming spirit, strong organizational skills, and dedication to serving others.

As the proud mother of three boys, Milena understands the importance of family and enjoys helping parishioners feel supported and at home. She is committed to serving with compassion, faith, and hospitality, striving to make St. Anne Catholic Church a place where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
